Wasabi Systems joins Super-H Partner Program
NEW YORK, NY, June 17, 2002 -- Wasabi Systems Inc., the leading provider of embedded NetBSD products and services, today announced it was joining the SuperH Partner Program as a Founding Member. As a Super H Partner, Wasabi will be developing and supporting the NetBSD operating system for the SH-5 processor from SuperH, Inc. SuperH is an independent global leader in the development and licensing of 32-bit and 64-bit RISC microprocessor cores The SuperH architecture is designed for digital consumer applications such as set-top boxes, portable multimedia appliances, games consoles, and many other infotainment products. Telecom applications include video telephones, home gateway systems and smart phones.
