Changes to the NetBSD Packages Collection in September 2003

By my calculations, at the end of September 2003, there were 4147 packages in the NetBSD Packages Collection, up from 4039 the previous month, a rise of 108.

The Package of the Month award goes to: pkgsrc/x11/xbattbar, nominated by Hubert Feyrer, seconded by myself, Matt Green and a host of others. xbattbar is a lovely little utility which displays the battery state for laptops, and which has recently been enhanced to be able to use ACPI if APM doesn't work.
